Dr. Muzaffar is excited to return to academic medicine after 17 years practicing neuroradiology at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana-Champaign, IL and subsequently at Dupage Medical Group in the western suburbs of Chicago. Prior to that, he was on faculty at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Muzaffar has a particular interest in head and neck imaging, neurovascular imaging, and MR safety. He completed his radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr. Muzaffar is married to Henna Muzaffar, an Associate Professor of Nutrition at Northern Illinois University. They have a son who is a junior in college and twin daughters who are seniors in high school. Dr. Muzaffar enjoys international travel, hiking, photography, badminton, and swimming.
