Congratulations to Radiology Physics Resident, Emily Marshall, on receiving funding to participate in the 10th Annual Coalition for Imaging and Bioengineering Research (CIBR) Medical Imaging Technology Showcase! Sponsored by the Academy of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Research, the annual Medical Imaging Technology Showcase, is held in a senate or house office building on Capitol Hill. The showcase serves to educate members of Congress and their staff about the impact of imaging technology.
In addition to funding showcase attendance, awardees are inducted into the Academy's Council of Early Career Investigators in Imaging (CECI2). The Academy’s CECI2 collaborates with the Academy to advocate for federal investments in imaging research. CECI2 also serves as a networking and educational resource for its members.
