Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR) Editor-in-chief Daniel Y. Sze, MD, PhD, FSIR, is pleased to announce the inaugural JVIR Resident Editorial Fellowship, which will begin at the SIR 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting and run until SIR 2024. The program will offer participants the opportunity to shadow editorial leadership, take part in regular strategic discussions and decision-making, receive valuable instruction on fundamental elements of scholarly writing, editing and publishing, and more. According to Dr. Sze, “The JVIR Resident Editorial Fellowship will introduce IR trainees to the peer review, editing, ethics, and publication process for scientific manuscripts through an immersive mentored experience with the JVIR editorial board, and will help cultivate a diverse pipeline of IRs with editorial expertise who will serve as our next generation of leaders.”
