Congratulations to Dr. Deepa Sheth on being nominated and selected by the Academy for Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Research to become part of the Academy Council for Early Career Investigators in Imaging (CECI2) class of 2020. Dr. Sheth joins a council of strong and effective advocates for medical imaging research. As part of the council, she will attend the Academy Spring MedTech CECI2 events scheduled in Washington, DC from May 3-5, 2020. The series of spring events will focus on the development of a framework for government agencies, academia and industry to create a consortium reflecting a public/private partnership in the United States, lead by the Academy/CIBR as a facilitator.
