Dr. Dachman is an abdominal radiologist with expertise and interest in the GI tract, virtual colonoscopy, cancer diagnosis (stomach, small bowel, colon, pancreas). He also has interest in swallowing and esophageal motility.
Dr. Dachman's main research focus was and is the development, implementation of CT colonography (also termed "virtual colonoscopy" for colorectal cancer screening. He helped develop and test computer aided detection software for interpreting virtual colonoscopy. He developed educational course for radiologist and an on line training program for CT technologists.
