Congratulations to Dr. Aytekin Oto on being appointed Chief Physician of the University of Chicago Medicine Physicians, Head of the Faculty Practice Plan, and Dean for Clinical Affairs at the University of Chicago, effective August 15, 2021. In his new appointments, Dr. Oto will report to Dean/EVP Dr. Kenneth S. Polonsky and will work very closely with Tom Jackiewicz, President of UCMC, the clinical department chairs, clinical faculty and senior hospital leadership to ensure that UCMC physician practices flourish and grow, continue to provide patient care of the highest quality and support the education and research missions. The UChicago Medicine Care Network will report to Dr. Oto and Mr. Jackiewicz.
