Dr. La Riviere's paper published in Nature

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Patrick La Riviere on the publication of his paper “Multiview confocal super-resolution microscopy”, on November 26, 2021 in the journal NatureNature is a "weekly international journal publishing peer-reviewed research in all fields of science and technology on the basis of its originality, importance, interdisciplinary interest, timeliness, accessibility, elegance and surprising conclusions."

Completed in collaboration with Dr. Hari Shroff's NIBIB's High Resolution Optical Imaging laboratory, the paper focuses on a multi-view confocal microscope with super resolution capabilities. While the work was driven by Dr. Shroff's lab, Dr. La Riviere and his former student, Dr. Corey Smith, contributed a number of important computational ideas and techniques that helped them image larger samples at higher resolution than anyone has before.

This paper has also been featured in the University of Chicago's Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL)  and the NIBIB websites.
