We are very happy to announce that Dr. Reza Sirous will be joining the Abdominal Imaging section starting October 1st. We look forward to welcoming him to the team and are excited about the expertise and enthusiasm he will bring. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Sirous!
Dr. Sirous completed his radiology residency at George Washington University in Washington, DC, followed by fellowships in nuclear medicine at the University of Maryland, imaging informatics at the University of Pennsylvania, and abdominal imaging at the University of California, San Francisco.
Along the way, he presented over 30 oral and poster presentations and published over 20 articles in journals like Radiology, AJR, and Abdominal Radiology. He received his CIIP certificate from ABII and is double-board certified by ABNM and ABR. He's now based in Chicago where he moved to join his wife Rachel, a radiology resident.
Together with their fluffy British longhair cat, Hugo, they enjoy life in the Windy City. When he's not in the reading room, you'll likely find him flying single-engine airplanes, reading non-radiology books, watching movies with Rachel, or planning their next trip together.
