Dr. Angela Whittington, a proud Chicago native, recently joined the Department as a Breast Imaging Radiologist and Assistant Professor. Dr. Whittington recently completed her Fellowship here at UChicago.
Dr. Whittington and her husband, Adam, have two delightful children: four-year-old Ada and one-year-old Aiden. Outside of work, Dr. Whittington enjoys spending time with her family exploring parks, visiting zoos and museums, and basking in the sun at the beach. This past summer was a whirlwind of excitement as they embarked on thrilling adventures, from navigating a slime museum to conquering towering bounce houses, and making their inaugural journey to the vibrant city of San Diego. As her children continue to grow, Dr. Whittington looks forward to revisiting her beloved hobbies including video games and discovering new foods at restaurants.
