Dr. Lisa Kang recently joined the Section of Pediatric Imaging as an Associate Professor. Many may remember Dr. Kang as she completed her Radiology Residency with us in June 2013. She then went to pursue a Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, followed by a return to UChicago for a Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship which she completed in 2015.
Dr. Kang’s interests are Peds and Interventional Radiology, K-dramas, Jeju Island & Global Health. She is married to Dr. Colin Brown and has three children: Nora (9), Nicholas (7), and Michael (5 months). Her hobbies include minhwa and other arts and crafts like drawing and crochet, eating (especially sushi and Korean food), drinking coffee, and daydreaming.
