On Friday, September 20, 2019, Dr. Maryellen Giger was inducted as a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering at the Carnegie Mellon University Forum on Biomedical Engineering. Following the New Fellow Induction Ceremony, Dr. Giger provided an invited plenary talk entitled “AI in Breast Cancer Imaging”.
