The Department of Radiology’s Diversity and Inclusion Council hosted the first Women in Radiology (WiR) get-together event this past weekend, on Sunday October 3rd. A small group of residents, fellows, and attendings enjoyed lunch together while discussing the book The Confidence Code for Women by Katty Kay and Claire Shipman. The groups big takeaway? Neuro plasticity is real - and our brains keeps growing past 10. As a group, we are committed to continuing our journey of growth, as a team and individually. This was the first of many and we look forward to welcoming more of our team at future events! (this group is open to everyone in the department)
