Joann Vera has worked for UCM since 2007; first on the patient transport team and then joining the GMI Team in 2012. She is currently on the Radiology GMI technologist OR Home-base 1st shift. She is always a team and patient advocate & her recent efforts truly exemplify this. As the pandemic reached UCM, Joann reached out to GMI Clinical Manager, Jennifer Spano-Rzepecki, right away to see if the organization would take in cloth mask donations. UCM & GMI happily accepted her offer and generosity. Joann and her neighbor have been making cloth masks for the GMI department for several weeks. They have already made and distributed over 60 masks to the GMI team. The GMI team truly appreciates her and her neighbor's work and generosity!
