Dr. Samuel Armato has been awarded the IMIG Advancement Award from the International Mesothelioma Interest Group. The award is presented "to an individual who has made significant and sustained contributions of service to the mission of the International Mesothelioma Interest Group and the mesothelioma community.”
IMIG is an independent international group of scientists and clinicians working to understand, cure and prevent mesothelioma. Dr. Armato has served as president of the group since 2016.
