Diagnostic Radiology Interview Day

All our interviews will be held with ZOOM.  There will not be any in-person interviews.

The night before your interview there will be a Zoom meeting with some of our residents.  This casual affair you'll be able to ask the residents questions about the program, faculty, good food in Chicago and great neighborhoods to live in.

There are two interview groups per day. The first group should plan on logging on to Zoom by 8:25 a.m. and the second group by 10:30 a.m.  You will receive more specific details when you schedule your interview.

After a brief orientation with our Program Director, you will interview with 4-5 faculty members and receive one-on-one time with a resident. The interviews will be 15 minutes and a 5 minute rest between interview.  During your day with us, you will "tour" our department with a resident, meet the Chairman, and have the opportunity to attend our noon conference.

In the meantime, when you schedule your interview with us make sure you’ll have a quiet place, a laptop, earphones, and snacks.  Take the time to practice interviewing via Zoom with your advisor, mentor, or peers. Make sure you place your laptop so you are looking into the camera and not looking up or looking down to the camera.  Use good lighting. Talking on Zoom is similar to Facetime but you can experience glitches, dropouts and disconnections.
