MISSION STATEMENT: The Section of Angiography and Interventional Radiology is one of the most rapidly growing areas in medicine today. By improving upon and developing new percutaneous techniques, we improve patient care as well as provide more cost effective medical treatment. Our patient population ranges from infancy to the elderly and includes procedures spanning the full range of the field. These include: treatment of transplantation complications such as hepatic artery or portal vein stenosis; stenting of biliary stenosis; abscess drainage; placement of IVC filters; percutaneous control of GI bleeding; TIPS; as well as numerous vascular and urologic procedures.
These are performed with state-of-the-art equipment which rates the best in the region. By utilizing the most sophisticated equipment and continuing to perform procedures which are at the leading edge of the field, we continue to maintain and demand the highest quality in patient care.
